Logan Andrew

The other day I called Logan's pre school teacher to see her opinion on him going to Kindergarten in the fall. I had fully planned on sending him but I just thought her input might be helpful. She proceded to tell me that Logan is the smartest boy in any of her classes and he is the most helpful and bright student she has had in a long time. He also participates well and learns very quickly and has such a great sense of humor! She even went as far to say that Logan really is ready to go straight to 1st grade! I just had to brag a little- but aren't mom's aloud that every once in a while??? :) I have to say that Logan is a very special child. He has always been my little buddy and the thought of him going to kindergarten is so sad! I have such good memories of him always wanting to touch my toes and saying "touch you toes" and the phase of blankies and sippy cups seems like just yesterday. Now he has moved on to bigger things like four wheelers and motor bikes with Drew. It is fun to see Logan in Drew's shadow and see how Logan wants to do everything Drew does. It is just something I never could have dreamed when growing up that I would have 4 adorable children who love me regardless of my faults and weaknesses and who are willing to learn and grow with me. As my kids get older their roles in our family are being established and Logan is definately right where he belongs!

oh man, i forgot that he was the one who was into toes. he used to lay on the floor with his blanket and touch toes!! this makes me cry, why can't your kids stay small forever? they are going to turn into bratty teenagers soon, and make us all upset. noooo! i can't wait to see them though!

Lisa don't send him to first grade! Then you'll have one year less with him at home! HOw sad, thinking of the kids graduating from high school. Ok, thats a little dramatic! He really is just so adorable. You are going to have all the girls after him. good thing he's such a great kid!

We need to start a blog just about the silly things your kids say. I love it!
