Chayse

Chayse is learning all sorts of new things! She says - ball, mom, dad, uh oh, mine, bite, bi-bi (binki), bipit (blanket), sip, please, no, yeah and is now starting to tell you to "shhhh" and even uses the finger action to go with it. She is learning to count and counts from 1 to 3. It is so cute when she says two but I could only get her to say one tonight. :)

She is SOOOO independent and fights me everyday to gain more independence. I don't know that I have ever had a 17 month old child be so sassy and strong willed. We sure do love her personality and sure do love it when she goes to bed at night!

4th of July

We had a really fun 4th of July. Our initial intentions were to not do anything because Drew has been working so much. However, we ended up having 17 kids at our house and 8 adults! It was a great time! We ended up doing the usual of steaks, hot dogs, and grilled pineapple! Barry and Karin came over with their kids and played all day and did fireworks that night. My kids just LOVE Karin and Barry. Grandma Patty is Chayse's best friend and they played together all day whether Patty liked it or not :)

Of course all the kids wanted to get the dirt bikes out and Drew taught Ammon how to ride his little 80 that has a clutch! It was so fun to see how excited he was! Ammon is Logan's friend and is constantly trying to trade me things... he wanted to trade his X box for my old school nintendo because that was the coolest thing he has ever seen! :) He asked if Drew would trade his 80 for Ammon's Honda 50. Drew laughed pretty hard because Ammons bike is worth a lot more than ours! We got the kids a swimming pool and it was a total hit. It was freezing cold because we had just filled it the night before, but they swam all day anyways. It was so fun to watch them!

We are so lucky to have such good friends and family that live so close to be our entertainment! :)
