I have been posting a lot lately, but when I get such cute pictures I want to share! Chayse is starting to be such a silly girl! She absolutely LOVES to be naked. She can be screaming and crying and as soon as I take her diaper off she is all smiles. It makes us laugh so hard! I just love this little girl so much and thank heaven for her every day. She has such a special spirit and it just so dang cute you want to kiss her all day long!!!!

Tate being Tate

Uncle Garrett is here visiting this weekend and teaching Tate all sorts of funny things. He learned how to say IRON MAN and now says it all the time with a face to go with it. I thought you might enjoy this...

Happy Birthday Logan!!

We can't believe Logan is 5 years old today!! Logan is definately a very special boy worth some bragging! When Logan was born a nurse wheeling him into our room thought she had the wrong baby because she swore he was a little mexican baby with all that black hair. She had to do a double check on the bracelet to make sure. :) Logan's name was actually Ethan for about 5 hours. That was the name on the birth certificate and everything. Lucky for him Drew decided he didn't like that so he got named after a brand of trailor. LOGAN.

Logan was always such a good baby. He hardly ever cried and was soooo chubby. As Logan got older he grew into a very sensitive, cuddly boy and attached himself to his Auny Lyndi's blanket that was pink and white with hearts and ruffles. He always wants to snuggle with me in the mornings and is so loving towards his sister Chayse. As I have watched Logan get older and grow bigger I have a deeper appreciation for him in my life. He adds a dynamic to our family that we couldn't do without and his so silly one liners make us laugh every day. I love his huge brown eyes and his hair that is just like Uncle Garrett's. He has the best parts of so many people I love! Logan has such a desire to learn new things and to try new things. Especially things outside. He loves his four wheeler and so desperetly wants a motorbike it is all he talks about. He loves his Dad so much and they have a great relationship. Logan will work outside with Drew for hours and hours just to get the chance to be with him. I admire the patience Drew has with Logan and am so impressed at his ability to teach our children in a loving and compassionate way instead of yelling. He is such a happy and wonderful little 5 year old and I honestly thank heaven for him every single day. We love you Logan and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Our Weekend

Hailey spent the weekend with us and we had sooo much fun. She helped me so much with Chayse and I was able to get a lot done! Logan loved working in the excavator with Drew and Tate just played so hard he fell asleep right on the kitchen floor. You know it has been a good day when they are sunburned and dirty!

Dance Addiction Recital 2008

Melissa , Kinsley, McKenzie, Me after the recital

Lyrical Costume

Kinsley, Kayeli, McKenzie

Before the show in their jazz costume

Tonight was McKenzie's dance recital and she did AWESOME! Her teachers are two really great and fun girls who went to school with Uncle Brady! They did two dances... a jazz dance to the song "Break Your Heart" and their lyrical dance to a Miley Cyrus song called "I Miss You". If I knew how to get you to be able to listen to them I would because they are awesome. McKenzie looked like an absolute angel and is so graceful and talented. In one part of the song the other girls lift her in the air and she just shined. It made me cry! I am so proud of her for accomplishing so much this year and working so hard at dance. She is such a special girl who has the world awaiting her! We love you KENZIE BUG!

Boys will be Boys...

Drew, Andy & Robbie - not sure what this is about???

Drew has been doing a lot to the backyard! I am thinking he is loving the mini excavator! Andy and Robbie his friends came over to help last night. Andy was working the excavator and dropped a huge rock right on the wheel well of the trailor. Drew was yelling profanities his way and I am sure all the neighbors heard considering it was dark and late and very quiet! Oops. I guess Drew won't be getting that call to be Bishop anytime soon! :) We are so appreciative of all of Drew's employees and friends that have been helping us these days. We are so lucky. Boys and their toys right?

All Smiles!

Chayse is really starting to be chatty and smiling a lot! She is just so cute. I took her to the dr. the other day and she is just about at the 4% for her height and weight. Way to go! She now weighs 9 lbs. 4 oz. and is 21 inches. The same size I was when I was born! It has been so fun to watch her get bigger, even though I wish she would stay a tiny baby forever!
Logan loves playing with my new camera and got this picture and Chayse and Me. Sadly enough... my children look nothing like me. BOO!

Grammy's Got a Gun...

Some mothers bake, clean and fold laundry all day. Some mothers work. Some mothers quilt like a mad woman until their fingers might fall off. Some mothers talk on the phone to her children that always call at the same time. Some mothers wish their kids lived closer. Some mothers have a favorite daughter (sorry guys... it's me). Some mothers have gone to the same hair dresser for 25 years and can't let go. Some mothers can sing like an angel. Some mothers love the colors Gold 4 and Taupe 3. Some mothers make silly noises when they are falling asleep. Some mothers are incredibly talented at everything they do. Some mothers are so beautiful you just can't stand it. And then there is my mom... Not only all of these things... but also a great shot!
Way to go MOM!

Logan Andrew

The other day I called Logan's pre school teacher to see her opinion on him going to Kindergarten in the fall. I had fully planned on sending him but I just thought her input might be helpful. She proceded to tell me that Logan is the smartest boy in any of her classes and he is the most helpful and bright student she has had in a long time. He also participates well and learns very quickly and has such a great sense of humor! She even went as far to say that Logan really is ready to go straight to 1st grade! I just had to brag a little- but aren't mom's aloud that every once in a while??? :) I have to say that Logan is a very special child. He has always been my little buddy and the thought of him going to kindergarten is so sad! I have such good memories of him always wanting to touch my toes and saying "touch you toes" and the phase of blankies and sippy cups seems like just yesterday. Now he has moved on to bigger things like four wheelers and motor bikes with Drew. It is fun to see Logan in Drew's shadow and see how Logan wants to do everything Drew does. It is just something I never could have dreamed when growing up that I would have 4 adorable children who love me regardless of my faults and weaknesses and who are willing to learn and grow with me. As my kids get older their roles in our family are being established and Logan is definately right where he belongs!

Cousins!

We are very lucky to live by family where our kids get to play with their cousins any time they want! Slade, Teagan and Logan are best buddies with Tate following in their shadow. McKenzie and Hailey have so much fun playing dress up and being silly together. We love Clynt and Kim's kids so much and it is so fun to have them so close together in age. Chayse is lucky too- she'll have 2 cousins only a few months younger than her. It makes me wish that my family lived closer so Luke and baby #2 could play too!Every Sunday Grandpa Keith eats a bag of popcorn...without fail. Since all the grandkids are getting older they think they need to join in the fun and now we have to make several bags! Poor Keith was tired of sharing just one. The kids and Keith usually end up making a huge mess on the carpet because it seems more hits the floor than their mouths. They are all so cute!!!

Here's the culprit...

Last week Tate was especially naughty, mean, wouldn't sleep and just seemed aggrivated by most things! On Friday night we had some friends over and we were playing in the backyard when I happened to look in his ear only to see something big and black. I at first had pictures in my mind of it being a huge caterpillar or something of that disgusting nature so I went inside to see if I could fish it out. After much fighting, kicking, screaming, biting etc. Drew and I decided it wasn't going to come out by our doing, but we would have to go to the dr. So the next morning I made Drew take him to the dr. to get whatever it was out. The dr. thought it was maybe just a big ball of wax but to our surprise when they fished it out it was this....

A ROCK!!!!!

Antler race 2008

For the past several years Drew has been going on the antler race in Jackson Hole. May 1st is when the season starts for "horn hunting" and there is a big race near the elk refuge where the elk drop their sheds and crazy men on horses race around the wilderness looking for them. I guess if this is what makes Drew happy then more power to him, but it was funny this year because he debated for several days whether to go or not because of how much snow there is. Well, on wednesday at about 3pm he decided to go and loaded the horses and left. I think he had a pretty good time and he must think this blogging stuff is cool because he brought me his camera and asked I put some pictures on. He went with Andy (his BFF) and JC so I think they had a pretty good time and are all sore and tired. Drew gave me permission to rub his sore butt, but I said no thanks. Go figure!

For those who can't be here...

Chayse is just getting so fun! There is NOTHING sweeter than when your baby starts to smile and make those cooing sounds. She is such a GOOOOD!!!! baby! She is just a perfect fit in our house and just what we all needed!

More fun pictures...

Just a few pictures of my girls!

I love you!
