Here we are on the home stretch...
here I am at the finish line... yes I look awkward and embarrassed!Well as some of you know I did a 5K this past weekend with some of my friends (Tenille, Rhonda, Brigitte, Shandi and Jaime). Rhonda and I decided to run together and I am so glad we did. I really had a great time doing it and felt like I did pretty good all things considered. We ran the route the day before which was probably a BIG MISTAKE considering all the "ROLLING HILLS" we had to run up. My legs were pretty sore come Saturday morning. I am definately going to do another one (OCTOBER 11th) and am pretty positive I want to train for the half marthon next year. Unfortunately I can't convince anyone to do it with me... COME ON RHONDA!!!! Rhonda is awesome and I need to brag about her a little bit... she just barely had a baby 8 WEEKS ago and she is in such great shape. Her little boy Preston is the cutest little thing there ever was. Drew was such a cute husband driving around, taking pictures and yelling out the window to me. The kids thought I was pretty cool too! We had a great day with the kids and I am really glad they were able to see my accomplish something I have been working towards.

Thats awesome! I'm so proud of you. The last 5k I did, I ended up walking most of the way sooo yeah you are MUCH better than I am. Hopefully I'll be able to come up and cheer you on for your next one!!!
GREAT JOB LISA!!! I am sooooo proud of you! If I lived closer I would train with you! I think it is so awesome you did it! You look great and I can't believe your friend had a baby eight weeks ago with a rockin' body like hers! NO FAIR!!!! It is great to have such great friends that help each other!

Hey that is awesome that you ran a marathon! Sorry we never got together before I went to China-It was soo crazy trying to unpack from the summer and then to pack for China and my whole family came up! But we will have to get together when we get back! China is cool! It is fun to experience a different culture! And it makes me so grateful for the USA!
