Meet Chloe McClintock!

Chloe was born this morning and weighed a healthy 8 lbs 3 oz! She is just so cute and I love her little nose because it looks just like a nose you would find on one of my kids. I wish they lived closer so I could kiss her and love her! Kyle and Heidi didn't give her a middle name so I am going to name her Chloe MARIE... after me of course. That way I can always be her favorite aunt! :) We love you guys!

July 24th Celebrations

It is true that the 24th is a mormon holiday but it is still fun to have another day to feel patriotic and be reminded of how blessed we all are. We have lived in our house for just over a year and the other day I was just reminded of how blessed I am to live where I do. Our city had a city breakfast in light of the 24th and the young men lined the exit into Sugar and all the way down the main street on both sides with the American Flag. When I drove down the street I just loved it. I feel such gratitude for those serving our country for my freedom and made me think of Sept 11th. I remember such a feeling of pride and unity as a country in those days and weeks following that day. I wish that we could leave the flags up all year round and help everyone remember things that are really important. I am just so grateful for my home and my freedom and all of my great new friends I am making in our ward and neighborhood. I love this little town!

Bumbo is our friend!

So I have seen on a couple of blogs this thing called a "bumbo" but I haven't ever heard of it. Well the other day I saw one at Target so I thought I would try it out and OH MY GOODNESS I am so glad I did. Chayse is the most happy when she is sitting in an upright position and can look around at the world. She absolutely loves this thing and we love watching her play in it. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a gassy or fussy baby because it keeps their tummies scrunched up just the way they like it to relieve some of that gas! :)

And you know the belly is feeling good when the arms are above the head in a deep sleep... FINALLY!

My friend Amy Jo had this on her blog and I thought it was a GREAT idea! If you don't want to leave a comment at least email me with something great!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Cute baby pierced ears

I finally did it! Well I finally got the courage to do it I should say! McKenzie and I took Chayse to get her ears pierced the other day and I am so glad we did. She seriously is the cutest little baby I have ever seen and looks so cute with her ears pierced. I have come to the conclusion that both of my girls best color is PURPLE and lucky for Chayse her birthstone is purple. So she has cute little studs in her ears. I have always been rather nervous to get it done because I hate to see them cry but little Chayse didn't cry at all. She wasn't too happy about me wrapping her in a blanket so she couldn't move and as soon as it was done she wimpered a little and then got over it really quickly! It just looks so cute! We love our little Chayse!

Now a true used car lot...

Well we are now the proud owners of 5 cars. All of which are sitting at our house at the moment. I should put a sign in the yard reading "Cutler's Used pieces of crap and maybe a few good ones inbetween" HA! Actually it has been a sad time for Drew because his little Ranger blew up... literally. These gas prices are hurting our new business having to drive to Island Park all the time and all the cars we have get 10-12 miles to the gallon. YIKES. So we got the bright idea to get a beater car that Drew and I can drive around that gets better gas mileage. When it is all said and done we actually got a really good deal on this car and it isn't really a beater?! I don't know how we get so lucky... well I do but I won't go into that right now! :) Anyways, we like our little car and think it should be fun to not pay 125 dollars to fill up a car!

Happy 4th of July!

Usually we don't do anything too exciting and this year was no exception! Grandma Patty had the 3 older kids stay the night at her house so we had a great time relaxing at home Thursday night with Chayse. We thought we would have the greatest evening ever... do something wild and crazy but this is how the conversation went...

Me: It's only 10, what should we do... we only have Chayse.
Drew: I don't know, what do you want to do?
Me: Something spontaneous or wild and crazy!!!
Drew: Let's sleep with the lights off in the whole house!

OH MY GOODNESS WE ARE LAME!!!! And that is what we did! So we did get to sleep in a little which Drew really needed and then we went to Idaho Falls and it was fantastic. I recommend driving down 17th st. on the 4th of July at 1pm because no one is on the roads. We bought the boys a new bed and went to Sam's club to get our favorite fruit snacks.
When Patty and Keith brought the kids home we went and got some fireworks and my all time favorite sparklers and the kids had a great time. They loved everything about the day and the best part is how much fun time we got to spend together as a family doing what we love most... having fun and making messes!

I also just have to say how much I LOVE that our ward puts out flags in everyone's yard on Holidays and yesterday was no exception. I love looking up and down the street and seeing nothing but the American Flag.
