Today was my first time purchasing and picking up the bountiful basket full of awesome fruits and veggies. I love it! Tonight Drew was thinking we should have a chopped competition using only the stuff in our basket and pantry. Kelsey made a kumquat honey orange glaze shrimp. It was not bad if you like shrimp so it's a good thing KENZIE LOVES SHRIMP. Saying she loves shrimp doesn't quite explain how much she LOOOVVVEEESSS shrimp.
Garrett did a baked asparagus wrapped in bacon. He is a natural born chef and could probably really be on the Chopped show. It was good,REALLY good- but not as good as mine. I call it a "gourmet" pronounced GOR-MET burger. I can't cook very well. Mostly because I don't cook. I stick to the basic casseroles, spaghetti, McDonalds- things that don't fail! :) So I made a tasty hambuger using several items from my basket and my best friend SPRAY BUTTER. Drew said he may request it for a meal sometime soon, Garrett ate 2 and Kelsey was still recovering from the shrimp! HA!!!
It was soooo fun! We love the food network. Kelsey loves it too so she is a great match for our late night TV obsession. I just wish I won 10k bucks for being the chopped champ!!!

So how come neither you or Melissa shared the BB secret before now? I just found out a couple weeks ago! :)
It all sounds yummy!
That sounds amazing. I should have you come here and cook for me. Bring the whole fam if that's the case. Sounds like cooking is in the blood. That is great about your bro. What an exciting day! I can't believe you have another dead animal on your wall. Those things freak me out!! Every time I bump into one, I cringe. YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
