McKenzie

McKenzie had a big week last week! First of all on the 24th she turned 8!! And on the 27th she was baptized. It was very fun for her because my parents , Garrett , Jennifer and Heidi, Luke and Chloe were able to come. As well as Drew's family and lots of friends! It was our first time meeting Chloe so we were so excited!

McKenzie had a very special day being baptized. She was so beautiful and so sweet. I loved everything about the day and being able to make the day all about her was so great! It is hard to believe she is already 8 years old. She is such a talented and funny girl. She loved being in the spotlight and it was so fun to see her shine and to see her personality really shine through. She wrote me a note after her baptism telling me how much she loves me and had such a good day. There is honestly nothing that meant more to me than knowing her day was perfect!

We had so much fun with Luke and Chloe. They were so FUN to play with. Luke and Tate played until they couldn't play anymore. Luke especially loved the trampoline. The two of those boys together with their ORANGE hair could really cause some serious trouble!!!

Thanks to all of those who made Kenzie's day so special.

These are my kids...YIKES!

Drew took Kenzie to work with him today and it has been an experience for all of us. I sometimes don't realize how much I depend on Kenzie and how much she does to help me with Chayse. I have missed her tons today, but i have always been able to get all her birthday shopping wrapped up. She is turning the big 8 so there are lots of extra special presents needed! So Logan has been entertaining Chayse while I am figuring out my new computer... this was so funny to watch! It does seem to appear that Chayse is never clean... I promise she is!! :)

Did I forget to mention...

This boy turned 6! Logan is my little man and I just adore him. It is hard to believe he is already 6 because it feels like just yesterday he was born. Here are 6 things I LOVE about Logan:

1. He loves his mama! He is constantly sneaking me hugs when no one is looking. You can't be lovin on your mom when people are looking!! :)

2. He pretends he can't read.

3. He adores his dad and wants to be just like him.

4. He loves Chayse more than life itself and told me just today that "My Tilly (Chayse's nickname) is the most beautiful person he has ever seen!

5. He is easy to love and most people do!

6. He is a very talented wrestler and we LOVE watching him!

This is my honey... he is so cute! Even though he was being weird as usual :)

Our tree!

For the sake of this being my new journal I wanted to put some pictures up of our tree.

This is the spot where Drew proposed to me and carved my name into "his" tree where it then became "our" tree. He did the entire outline and put his name on this tree one year at scout camp and I was the lucky girl to get my name put with his. Every year we try to go back and we have since carved our kids names and birthdates into the tree also. I love that place and hope that someday I will have many names of all my grandkids there too!

McKenzie

I have been meaning to put this up for a while but we have been dealing with some major illness here at our house. Of course with Chayse... but today all seems well and she appears to be on the mend for NOW anyways!

McKenzie ran the mile in the pouring ran a few weeks ago and she did awesome. She got 1st in her group and 2nd out of her entire class. We are so proud of Kenzie because this year she has really excelled at so many things... reading, math, dance, being NICE ! and cleaning her room! What a great kid I have!!! :)
