Tate turns 5!

Tate had a great birthday this year... I think he did anyways! He was pretty pleased with his birthday cake! We always give Tate a hard time because he has goofy smiles, but those smiles definitely fit his personality. Drew stayed home from work on the day of his birthday and we took him to lunch at McDonalds. When we were ordering his lunch he said "Can I get a 6 piece chicken nugget now that I am 5?" So funny and so we figured he could graduate to the Mighty Kid's Meal. :)

That cake sure tasted good... marble cake! :)

Holden won't ever smile for me when I Have a camera looking at him. Drew was getting some good smiles out of him though!
Oh Chayse... what would we do without you?!?!
I love it when the kids get Holden to smile.
Look at those eyes... I just LOVE them!
I promise his hair is growing back... can you see it?!?!
I always tell McKenzie how beautiful her eyes are. I was messing around with her at dance and took a picture of them. Oh man, I wish I had her eyes!
Kenzie has started competitions this year and March has been very busy so far! She is so beautiful in her costumes and with her makeup done. She was giving me this look because I forgot her lipstick at home! :) I do LOVE the time I get to spend with just McKenzie this time of year!

Lately....

Holden is getting so big. I can't believe he is already 3 months old! He is so happy and has been very healthy! I am so grateful for that! Little Buster is starting to smile more and has the happiest eyes! I am pretty sure he is going to have brown eyes, which I WOULD LOVE!!! Last time he was weighed he is checking in at 10 lbs 1 oz. That is nearly double his birth weight so I think that is pretty great! The kids are doing great with him. Kenzie is a pro at making bottles and helping out. Logan and Tate just love to kiss and squeeze him. Chayse never leaves him alone! :) I love my happy baby boy!

Happy Birthday Chayse!

We have a busy couple of weeks at our house with Chayse, Tate and Me celebrating our birthdays within a week. I made a goal to start new traditions this year. One of which is to make the kids birthday cakes. I thought it would be fun for them to pick out what they wanted and Chayse chose the gumball machine. She was so funny on her birthday. I can't say the last 3 years with that girl has gone by fast, but we do enjoy every minute of her being in our family! She keeps us on our toes and is continually teaching me patience!!! We love our Tilly!
